We use Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how our website and Open Knowledge are used and to improve our services. Plausible does not use cookies, store persistent identifiers on your device or create personal user profiles.

Page views and aggregate technical information such as referring source, country, device type and browser are recorded. In addition, we measure only predefined categories, such as language changes, the selected contact method or whether a form was submitted successfully. Form contents, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, search terms, guide responses and calls to emergency or counselling services are not transmitted to Plausible. Statistical data is processed within the European Union.

We process the concern category you selected, your message and only the contact and additional information that you enter yourself. The processing serves exclusively to forward your request to the responsible person, to answer it and to prevent misuse of the form.

Ordinary contact requests will be deleted no later than twelve months after completion. Protection, feedback and complaint cases will be deleted no later than 24 months after completion, unless legal obligations or the securing of legal claims require longer storage. Booking and donation records are retained to the extent required by law.

The form details are checked on the server and sent to info@open-desk.ch via the hosting and email service commissioned by OpenDesk. The recipient cannot be changed in the form. A technical identifier created for a short time serves exclusively to limit automated inquiries and is not included in the message.

If you select «Open message in WhatsApp], the website will not submit the form to OpenDesk. Only your click opens a pre-filled chat at WhatsApp; You check and send the message there yourself. The data protection conditions of WhatsApp apply.

If WhatsApp cannot be opened, you can request a return contact. Your WhatsApp number, the message and your express consent will then be sent by email to OpenDesk and will only be used for the requested contact.

In the Protection, Feedback and Complaints section you can send without a name and without return contact. The form server then requires neither an email address nor a telephone number. We can only guarantee complete technical anonymity if the hosting service used does not maintain the necessary security protocols.

You can request information about your processed personal data as well as its correction or deletion and object to non-mandatory processing. Please write to info@open-desk.ch. Please do not submit complete card, account, health, school or ID information via the form.
