Members of the OpenDesk team interacting together

An association for educational opportunities.

We accompany young people aged 10 to 16 with real insights, personal encounters and understandable support.

Vision & Mission

Education should open doors.

Regardless of what information, contacts or role models a young person already brings with them.

Our vision

OpenDesk wants to help young people develop their potential - regardless of what conditions they start with.

Our mission

Through encounters, orientation and concrete support, we create spaces in which young people can grow, develop trust and discover new perspectives.

Our values

What guides us.

These principles shape our decisions and our daily work.

  • Representation first

Real role models make a difference.

  • Education as empowerment

Education should strengthen people and shape the future.

  • Community supported

Our work grows from real life environments.

  • Break down barriers

Make hurdles visible and paths understandable.

  • Quality over quantity

Grow sustainably and have a long-term impact.

Organization

Supported by the community.

Strategic responsibility and lived participation intertwine at OpenDesk.

Each role has a clear mission. The commission connects all levels with the perspective of the community.

  2. Check & confirm

    Commission

Reviews strategic direction from a community perspective. She confirms them or returns them for revision.

  3. Lead & coordinate

    Office

Leads the working groups, coordinates tasks and is responsible for communication and implementation.

  4. Implement offers

    Working groups

Implement the offers together with the office in small, focused teams.
