The paths after compulsory school
After compulsory school, there are three main paths: vocational training, a middle school or a bridge offer as an interim year.
View next stepsThe vocational apprenticeship leads to EBA or EFZ, with a vocational baccalaureate if desired. The middle schools are Gymnasium, FMS and WMS. Bridge offers bridge a year and prepare you for training. Further connections are possible later, for example higher vocational training.
